Ladies let me introduce you to Cindy Greenway. Cindy is owner of a Virtual Assistant Company. In doing this interview, I learned there are many levels of a Virtual Assistant company today as compared to even a couple years ago. Most , including myself, thought a virtual assistant is like a secretary, does the paper work, answers the phones, and things of this nature. Even though these are included in some virtual assistants daily tasks, most have grown outside of this box by a long shot and a new umbrella of virtual assistants has flourished.
Today you will find that virtual assistants can do so much more, including but not limited to , website designing, social media , marketing, video producing, among an array of other skills. Their main core task is to help the client achieve the goals of a prosperous business in today’s market.
This is where Cindy and her staff comes in. Cindy works with clients worldwide to help them with this goal. ” When I have clients who come to me for help, I must first listen to their needs in order to find out exactly what it is they need from me and my staff” says Cindy. ” We must understand the clients needs in order to build a strong foundation in order to stand up for our clients and put the pieces together to reach each goal” continues Cindy. “Figuring out what works and does not work for each client is the trick of becoming a successful virtual assistant.”
Cindy is now helping to train virtual assistants out there in the world today who would like to be more effective for their clients. “Not everyone in the field of virtual assistance comes from the corporate world and knows exactly where to start, so I am in the business of guiding them to find their specific talents and help grow their business and find the perfect clients” adds Cindy.
“With more and more competition in the virtual assistants arena today, it is vitally important for your business to be certified, in your specific area of interest” claims Cindy. By getting training and/or certification, it shows your clients your an expert in your field.
Consulting, training and showing women around the world how they can have a lucrative business, even part -time is Cindy’s main goal. Virtual Assistant is for anyone at any age, most are however women working from their home office, and this is even great for those who are semi-retired.

Great article! I agree. Virtual Assistant jobs can be anything from customer service, help desk, admin, tech to social media type positions – it is not limited to just secretarial anymore.
Best to you and yours,

You should really utilise the different skill sets that virtual assistants can bring to your business. If you lack a certain quality that is crucial for maintaining a good business (eg. web skills!), then a VA can be so beneficial. Just go off of recommendations and then you can be sure to trust them with important tasks. Trust is key!
